Although Hawaii offers its residents and visitors excellent dining, shopping, and entertainment opportunities, as well as numerous fun and exciting attractions, many people love Hawaii for its beautiful beaches. Hawaii is home to some of the world’s most amazing beaches, some with unique black sand, and some with soft white sand running along pristine, crystal-clear waters. However, not all of these beaches are as well known, and some of them are accessible only by boat or helicopter. Nevertheless, any beach you go to will offer you with a wonderful day of fun in the sun.

On Oahu some of the beaches you may want to check out include Lanikai Beach, Hanauma Bay. Hanauma Bay is a beautiful beach located in a volcanic crater and is home to a wealth of marine life, including reefs and the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle. On Kauai check out Ke’e Beach Park, Hanalei Bay Beach, and Poipu Beach. Hanalei Bay Beach is located on Kauai’s North Shore and offers numerous ocean activities such as boating, windsurfing, surfing, kayaking, fishing, and, of course, swimming. Two beaches to look for on Maui include Kaanapali - Black Rock Beach, which is a popular beach located near two oceanside resorts, and Kapalua Bay Beach. Another beautiful beach is Hapuna Beach State Park on the Big Island, which is popular for swimming, boogie boarding, and snorkeling.
